Dear Beautiful People,

I hope all is well in your lives. Today’s post carries a more reflective tone, and I pray it serves as a gentle reminder to love the people around you with your whole heart, while you still have them near.

The truth is, our mentors and elders are growing older, and while we trust in God’s grace to keep and cover them, the reality of time cannot be ignored. Their wisdom, presence, and love are gifts we must cherish now. I recently experienced another great loss of my dear uncle, Mr. Jeremiah Davis Sr.

After the passing of my father three years ago, Uncle Jerry stepped into my life with steadfast love and support. He became a true father figure to me, offering the kind of guidance, protection, and encouragement only a father could give. And now, three years later, he too has gone home to be with the Lord.

Mr. Jeremiah Davis Sr. was not only my uncle. He was a mentor, a counselor, and a gentle giant whose presence brought comfort and joy to every space he entered. He was a kind soul, full of wisdom and humility, always smiling, always encouraging, always making everyone feel welcome. He had a unique way of making you feel celebrated and important, no matter who you were or where you came from.

One beautiful memory I hold close is how he kept an old copy of Liberia Travel and Life magazine. He held onto it simply because it featured Liberia Fashion Week, a brand I created. That gesture spoke volumes about the kind of man he was; proud, loving, thoughtful, and deeply supportive. He believed in me, cheered for me, and celebrated my dreams as if they were his own.

Today, I dedicate this page to him. Uncle Jerry, thank you. Thank you for loving me, guiding me, and standing in the gap when I needed it most. I love you and I appreciate you more than words can express. Your legacy lives on in me and in all the lives you touched.

Rest in perfect peace. You will always be in my heart.
