Hello beautiful people,
The Day of Reckoning! When we hear or say this phrase, we think of a day of judgment. We hardly stop to think of the opportunity the day of reckoning provides for us to elevate our lives and enhance certain aspects to be that light God has called us to be. Today, I am led to present another side to the day of reckoning. Not the day we will be judged by God for eternal life. No! I'm speaking of the day of reckoning God provides us on earth to evaluate where we are now and elevate or keep us still.
See, the day of reckoning on earth is a test for our next level. It is the day the Holy Spirit allows us to consider:
what we have worked on
what we have left on the table
have we heard the voice of God
are we walking in His purpose for our lives
It is our litmus test on earth of how our ears are trained to the voice of God, and if we are executing his plan using His roadmap. The earthly day of reckoning occurs all the time. The question is do we recognize it? Are we living busy lives where we can not sit and allow God to speak to us for an hour and change the direction of our lives back to his purpose and plan? The fulfillment of our beautiful lives comes from understanding that God sets phases of our lives. To achieve our next levels, our works have to be judged at every stage.
Are we financially capable of managing that 1 million because God has just tested us with 100,000?
Are we truly ready for that business and to be responsible for leading others?
Are we prepared for that relationship?
May there be a day that reveals your beautiful work, and after evaluation, may God consider you ready and usher you into your next level. Now once there, remember to SEIZE the opportunities as God gives them to you.
Hosea 2: 14-15
“Therefore I am now going to allure her;
I will lead her into the wilderness
and speak tenderly to her.
There I will give her back her vineyards,
and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope.
There she will respond as in the days of her youth,
as in the day she came up out of Egypt.
